Intervention Staff

We understand the needs of pupils in Primary & Secondary schools have changed in recent times. Working closely with our partner schools we have seen an increase in long term & fixed term contracts being offered to Intervention Staff. An increasing amount of teaching staff have moved away from classroom teaching, & embraced more specialist; small group & one-to-one sessions both in person & via a learning platform.
Here are some of the roles that we have helped our partner schools recruit for, and staff we have placed in these roles have said how rewarding it is to work so closely with students, and to see a real difference in their focus and application from one-to-one & small group work.
These roles Include and are not limited to:
· Behaviour Support In this role, you will be working with class teachers & department leaders using existing behaviour plans to improve student behaviour. By working on a one-to-one basis you would be expected to focus on raising attainment, self-confidence, engagement and attendance.
· Literacy & Numeracy Specialists  Both Primary & Secondary schools are looking for experienced teachers & support staff to provide one-to-one help for students either struggling with the transition to secondary education or primary pupils that need extra help
· Maths & English Mentors –Working in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, learning mentors will be working across Key Stage 3 & 4 to close gaps in learning.
· Exam Support –To help students maximise their performance in upcoming exams you will be working on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Working with form tutors, and heads of department to identify the pupils that require help in their GCSE’s.
· Special Needs Support –We understand the important role that experienced Teaching Assistants play in effectively supporting children with a range of special needs. Our aim is to work with schools to ensure pupils have access to & engage in the full curriculum.
