Sales Executive - IT Security Products

Are you in the IT industry and looking to earn what you are worth?

A successful solution delivery partner to some of the major global IT security vendors has an exciting opportunity for an IT Sales Executive to join their sales team based in Bucks.

About the role:

Due to growth, they are looking for a bright, energetic, and experienced addition to their sales team. This role will suit an experienced account executive with a background in generating and closing new business opportunities.

Your focus will be on generating interest from UK based organisations in their enterprise IT security products. You will call out to marketed data and build interest in selected products with a view to setting appointments for their engineers to demonstrate the solutions. You will then manage the pipeline and close the sale!

Both Full-Time and Part-Time (reduced hours) will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • New business development
  • Identifying and understanding IT Security requirements
  • Presenting the benefits of a best-fit solution and then arrange online demonstrations with all the relevant stakeholders
  • Pipeline development and management
  • Determining the feasibility of customer projects and build a pipeline of good prospects
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors and customers and help the customer to build a business case to secure the deal
  • Closing sales
  • Delivering excellent customer service to assist on-boarding
  • After-sales and account management

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Ability to build a pipeline of opportunities from focused marketing activities
  • Preferably experience in the IT industry or at least able to understand technology
  • Target-driven and personable, with a vibrant, energetic personality
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • A can-do attitude, and eager and quick to learn
  • Confident in your own ability
  • Confident in discussing technical products with customers
  • A zest for new business generation
  • Ability to quickly develop strong business relationships
  • Excited about technology and looking for a career in technology sales
  • Self-starter who enjoys autonomy
  • Organised and proficient with Excel
