Well established IT and Managed Services provider requires experienced Sales Manager from a similar IT Managed Services background, to sell a mature product portfolio of leading IT products and services including Public/Private Cloud, IT Infrastructure Solution Sales, and all-round Managed Service contracts.

From Infrastructure and cloud solutions to managed service and support, they work with some of the leading vendors in the world to deliver outstanding solutions to the market. They are entering the next exciting phase of growth.
This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced sales manager with self-motivation and drive
to play a critical role in establishing a new external sales department. The role will initially involve hands on selling and will l develop in to recruiting and managing a successful sales team. The ideal candidate will have had some experience of working at senior levels within a company.
 
As the business continues to grow, this role provides a genuine opportunity for progression to Head of Sales, a senior Leadership Team role.

Skills and Experience

A proven track record in IT sales or IT Technical Sales Account Management (minimum 3 years)
A proven track record in IT Sales Management (minimum 3 years)
Experience selling successfully to SME and Enterprise clients.
You will have good technical awareness of up-to-date enterprise grade Public Cloud, Windows Server and PC Network Infrastructure set ups.
Must have the ability to process complex information, must be adept in use of Internet, email & Microsoft office applications.
Must be a competent writer of documentation. Excellent written and verbal skills including ability to
summarise and articulate complex solutions to clients. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to demonstrate success supporting others in the business.
Must be able to manage product/service mix, pricing and margins.
 

Maintain and develop new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods to
optimise customer acquisition and business growth.

Use customer and prospect contact activities, tools, and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.

Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.

Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.

Attend and present at external customer meetings, trade events, networking events and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.

Develop and manage an existing team of appointment setters through appropriate methods to
optimise lead generation and business growth. Recruitment of new team members as needed.
 
Develop and manage an existing team of internal sales executives through appropriate methods to
optimise internal sales results and business growth. Recruitment of new team members as needed.
 
Recruit, train and manage a new business development team through appropriate sales methods to
optimise customer acquisition and business growth.
